ST. Raphael’s School, Loughrea

Full civil package for a 2000m² extension, new access roads, all drainage and finishing works. Over 12,000m³ excavated and disposed off-site. A further 14,000m³ to be cut and filled on site for a new, fully drained GAA pitch for the school. Diversion of Loughrea town watermain and scour main. Removal of asbestos water main as part of a services diversion. A large drainage system installed including public road crossings and drainage through the grounds of an existing protected convent building. Reinforced concrete works up to FFL and demolition works were included in this package. Extra work at the end of the project included excavation of existing ballcourt and car parking areas.
